The cost of living is extremely high – 138.4% higher than the remainder of the United States.
Unemployment is low in Sun Valley and with the increase in population; the job growth market continues to increase as well. The population in total is older than the United States median population age – 47.5 years of age compared to 37.6 years of age. The majority of the individuals who make Sun Valley their home, are married.
Despite the high cost of living, many who come to Sun Valley to visit return to make this beautiful, mountainous region of Central Idaho their permanent home.
