Atkinson Park

Holding true to its reputation of having a multitude of outdoor recreations opportunities in the area, Ketchum, Idaho has several city parks that promote outdoor creations within the city. The best known of these is Atkinson Park at 900 Third Avenue. The City Park Administration Office is also located at Atkinson Park.

Of the five public parks located throughout the city of Ketchum, Idaho, the most frequented by visitors is Atkinson Park. Located at 900 Third Avenue, Atkinson Park is the primary location for sporting activities.

The Park has a covered picnic area with a two-foot by three-foot barbeque and five large tables. The area also has an extensive playground area complete with swings and play structures. Two soccer fields, one softball field, a tennis backboard, one ball field, a batting cage and a Little League Field are part of the accommodations. Additionally there is a concession stand, four tennis courts, a grass volleyball court, two leisure areas and a parking area. Don't forget to enjoy the outdoor basketball courts and the natural outdoor ice rink – which, of course, is only available in the winter.

Atkinson Park does not allow dogs. Check with the Park and Recreation Department for Ketchum if you have any specific questions or would like to reserve an area of the Park.
