Sawtooth Botanical Garden

Laid out on a five-acre parcel of ground just five miles south of Ketchum, Idaho is the Sawtooth Botanical Garden. Founded in 1994 by a small group of environmentalists and passionate gardeners, the Garden was established to foster the community's understanding of both native and cultivated plants. The Sawtooth Botanical Garden is designed to "celebrate plants and inspire people."

The first project of the Sawtooth Botanical Garden was to build a community building complete with a solar greenhouse. Programs provided by the Garden supplies information on gardening and ecological principles that are relative to the local area's climatic conditions. Some of the educational programs offered at the Garden include guest lecturers and workshops.

The Sawtooth Botanical Garden also offers an alternative place to rent for private parties for adults and children. This is a great place to hold a meeting, conduct a conference, or other special event. The facility is available summer and winter and is a unique location for any type of celebration.

Serving the entire Wood River Valley community, the Garden is a non-profit public garden and is easily accessible at 11 Gimlet Road and Highway 75, just five miles south of the town of Ketchum, Idaho.
