Sun Valley Village
Everyone is familiar with the name Sun Valley. However, lying in close proximity to the actual resort are several residential neighborhoods that together comprise Sun Valley Village. The occupants of these residents are within walking distance to all the amenities offered by the resort and can take advantage of the free buss shuttle to and from the other ski lifts located in Ketchum. more info
Resembling an alpine village, Sun Valley Village is a family friendly environment with lush grounds and century old landscaping. The showpiece of the Village is the historic Sun Valley Lodge that opened in 1936. Near the Lodge you will find the ice rink and not far away is a pedestrian shopping mall with unique and specialty shops. It will take more than just one visit to Sun Valley Village to able to investigate and enjoy all the various dining opportunities here.
Families can enjoy ice skating year round, skiing in the winter, and hiking, biking and other outdoor activities in the summer.
In addition to the lodging available in the Sun Valley Lodge, the Sun Valley Village has different condominium complexes, private homes and other hotels rooms for rent. All lodging accommodations have access to all the amenities of the Sun Valley Resort including heated swimming pools, fitness centers, a bowling alley, tennis courts and the golf course.
