Blaine County Fair
The Blaine County Fair is a week long event that honors and boasts many 4-H competitions and exhibits. Fair features include livestock husbandry, baked goods, produce, sweets, flowers, handcrafts, hobbies, small antiques and horsemanship. The fair offers plenty to see, eat, judge and buy and there are many events and parades for kids.
There is plenty of competition at the Blaine County Fair. There is a two day horse show, a llama show and a traditional jamboree. Other events include an archery shoot, a family barbecue and a "little kids" rodeo. There is also a main rodeo event held at night. Kids are welcome to join in the "Baby Bottle Brigade" in which kids parade with animals being bottle fed. The fair also has a night time dance and karaoke party. A recently added equestrian competition asks riders to demonstrate specific maneuvers requiring a great deal of skill. Awards are given out in all 4-H events.
