Festival of Trees
The Festival of Trees is a beautiful and unique way to get into the Christmas holiday spirit. Local artists and groups decorate trees which are then auctioned off at the gala as a fundraiser for the Blaine County Senior Connection and the KidShop. The trees are a treat for all ages, as the event hopes to bring generations together.
Traditionally around 40 trees are decorated and then put on display for the weekend at the nextStage Theater before the auction and the gala. The Festival of Trees is held in December, just in time to bring on the Christmas spirit. The gala is held in the nextStage Theater in Ketchum and provides food, drink, live music entertainment, silent auction, Money Tree which has a $5,000 gift certificate, the decorated trees and dancing. There is also a Winter Wonderful at the KidShop for children. Throughout the weekend, the trees and wreaths are available for purchase. The Festival of Trees is a wonderful way to enjoy Christmas time and fundraise for two worthy local causes.
