Ketchum Rotary Duck Race
The Duck Race is scheduled for September 3, 2006. Up to 30,000 rubber ducks will be launched into the Wood River at the Warm Springs bridge and race to the finish line at Rotary Park in Ketchum. The Duck Race is also a party with live music, food, drink and lots of fun activities for the kids.
The Duck Race is organized by the Ketchum Rotary and is a fundraiser for the Blaine County Search and Rescue and the Hailey and Ketchum Rotary Club projects and scholarships in the county. The party kicks off at 1pm and the race starts at 3-3:30pm. The Clumsy Lovers will provide live music and there will be balloons, face painting and more to keep the kids entertained. Prizes will be announced after the Duck Race when results are in. You can adopt your own duck and root it on as it races against thousands of other little yellow ducks down the Wood River.
