Sawtooth Relay

The Sawtooth Relay is a running race that covers 61.9 miles with 12 legs. The race starts in Stanley and finishes in Ketchum with an after party including food, drink and music. There is a range of potential team types determined by runners sex and age so all are welcome and encouraged to participate.

The Sawtooth Relay starts early in the morning from the Stanley Elementary School and finishes at Atkinson Park in Ketchum. Given the race's distance, each runner will usually run or walk about 5 miles twice. Most teams are made up of six people and can be all male, all female, or coed. Teams will be organized into categories based on age ranging masters to high school. If you are tough enough, you can also run the race solo. All race finishers receive an embroidered t-shirt and a unique Sawtooth Relay memento. Awards are given to the top three overall teams and the top three teams in each category. And don't forget the after party that offers quality food, drink and live music by Sonic Skillet.
