Sun Valley Summer Symphony

The Sun Valley Summer Symphony is a world class group of musicians. The symphony has grown to be the largest privately funded free admission symphony in the US. The summer schedule runs from July to August and features a variety of musical presentations all in an effort to celebrate the majesty and beauty of the Sun Valley alpine setting.

The Summer Symphony has gained national acclaim as Sun Valley has been able to attract distinguished musicians from around the country. There are also student workshops that offer classes in string, woodwind, voice, brass, harp, percussion, and piano. The Summer Symphony schedule is loaded with pieces by Beethoven, Astor Piazzolla, Tchaikovsky, Mozart and many more. There are also special events such as the Pops Night, "An Evening with Bernadette" a Tony Award winner, and Chamber Concerts. The Symphony also features special guest artists and soloists. Thanks to the generosity of the Sun Valley community, the free Summer Symphony series is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and enrich your life through music.

It looks like you may have missed it this time around.
