The largest privately funded free-admission symphony in America, the Sun Valley Summer Symphony will celebrate its 27th season in the glorious Idaho mountains this summer.
All Sun Valley Summer Symphony concerts are offered admission-free.
The LED screen on the lawn will return for the 2011 season. The screen will show all orchestra festival concerts from August 1 – 16. The audience is encouraged to sit inside the Pavilion for the Edgar M. Bronfman In Focus Series July 24-29.

Overview: The Summer Symphony has gained national acclaim as Sun Valley has been able to attract distinguished musicians from around the country. It features a variety of musical presentations all in an effort to celebrate the majesty and beauty of the Sun Valley alpine setting.There are also student workshops that offer classes in string, woodwind, voice, brass, harp, percussion, and piano.

Details: The Summer Symphony schedule is loaded with pieces by Beethoven, Astor Piazzolla, Tchaikovsky, Mozart and many more. There are also special events such as the Pops Night, "An Evening with Bernadette" a Tony Award winner, and Chamber Concerts. The Symphony also features special guest artists and soloists.
