Short-term and long-term rentals are easy to come by in the Sun Valley area of Idaho. It just takes a little time to figure out what exactly you want and to take a look at your options. Like most tourist destinations, it is always cheaper to rent a place if you have roommates. Check out the local listings on house or apartment rentals to get an idea of what is available.
The towns of Sun Valley and Ketchum, Idaho are considered the hubs of commerce, activity and entertainment within the county. It is therefore more expensive to rent apartments and houses in this central area than in surrounding towns of, Hailey for example. A few things that may make it worth spending more and living closer to it all is transportation to and from work, as well as proximity to nightlife and local entertainment. Schools, health care centers, and local services are scattered throughout the county, easily accessible from all towns. The area does have a pretty good transportation system, offering convenient rides throughout Sun Valley and Ketchum, and occasional routes to the rest of the county. Sun Valley is a great place to call home, no matter how long you plan on staying.
