A favorite family friendly activity in the Sun Valley area is a pack trip either aboard a horse or with the assistance of llamas as pack animals. There are many outfitters in the area who specialize in making this adventure one of your most memorable experiences. Outfitters and guides offer a variety of backcountry trips from day hikes with friendly llamas, to backcountry horse pack trips from 1.5 hours to several days. The longer trips include all amenities – gear and meals – and can include fishing opportunities in the wilderness area.
