During the winter weather, horse drawn sleighs operate usually from mid-December through March. There are a variety of sleigh rides – from those that are scenic sleigh rides only, to those who transport their passengers into the backcountry to a fabulous meal. You can also arrange a private booking for a sleigh ride.
These sleigh rides have fast become one of the must do activities of the winter season. There is nothing else like taking a sleigh ride along the creek side through the woods or being transported across the snow-covered fields in anticipation of a wonderful meal. Sleighs can carry nearly twenty people so this is an ideal family activity.
Come prepared for the cold - wear warm clothing - you will be provided with warm blankets. And the best part of a horse-drawn sleigh ride is that there is no experience necessary!
