Bald Mountain, Sun Valley, Idaho is a vacation destination location for both winter and summer outdoor enthusiasts. During the winter, the Mountain can be reached at River Run on the south side and at Warm Springs on the north side. Those wishing to ski or snowboard can take advantage of the fourteen lifts and sixty-five diverse runs on either side of the Mountain.
The ski runs total 2,054 acres and border the Sawtooth National Forest. The ski runs total 3,400 vertical feet from top to bottom. Bald Mountain has some of the longest ski runs of any ski resort.
Traveling to Sun Valley in the summer, you can take advantage of the adventures waiting on Bald Mountain including over twenty-eight miles of biking and hiking trails. Just sitting on the side of the Mountain and enjoying the view is a great past time. You can hike the trails yourself or arrange to have a guide.
Either winter or summer, Bald Mountain rises from the Valley floor and offers opportunities for adventure and excitement.
