Redfish Lake Lodge
Redfish Lake Lodge can be found just 60 miles north of Sun Valley and 6 miles south of Stanley just off of Highway 75 on the shores of Redfish Lake. The resort sits on 16 acres of U.S. Forest Service permitted ground. This historic lodge is in a unique setting with excellent access to hiking trails, lakes, and mountain peaks.
The Redfish Lake Lodge is situated on the north shore of the five-mile long glacial Redfish Lake in the middle of the Sawtooth Mountains. Built in 1929, Redfish Lake Lodge has been the destination of many visitors who come to the Sawtooth Mountains and especially to enjoy what is known as the "jewel of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area".
The Lodge is open from Memorial Day Weekend to the end of September. Through the years the Lodge has been updated and refurbished and continues to offer a combination of mountain comfort and excellent service.
In addition to the nine rooms in the main Lodge, there are 21 cabins for rent, and 11 motel rooms. The Lodge also has a full service restaurant, a rustic western lounge with a full service bar, a marina, and a general store. Redfish Lake Lodge also provides groceries, snacks, ice, curios, souvenirs, clothing, camping and fishing gear and a Laundromat for their guests and for campers in the area. There is also a gas station, public showers and horse corrals.
